Leaving the D league in the shortest amount of time possible was our first unfailing goal. For Palermo, for the fans, for the City. A goal always declared and finally achieved today after the decision of the FIGC Federal Council to endorse the National Amateur League’s proposal regarding promotions and relegations.
The D league is in fact a category which is rich in dignity and passion, but that has nothing to do with 120 years of pink-black pride. For this reason, today we are all stronger, more confident, more determined than ever. The same sense of responsibility that has brought us so far, starting from scratch, now guides us through the next steps, on and off the field.
We are all growing together as a community of people, before being fans or sports managers. All looking in the same direction, the only one possible, to get where we deserve to. This is the first step in becoming, not like before, but much better than before. Besides sports results, this time there is also a cultural and structural change which will forever remain heritage of our City. The sports center, the refurbishment of our Stadium thanks to surface rights, the museum, the esports, the virtual sports center, the virtuous re-foundation of the youth sector and our women's division... These are some of the initiatives we have planned and will continue to carry out with greater strength and determination.
Alongside these, starting today we are launching the English version of the official website and, above all, the new official pink-black products e-commerce website which was created by our local excellence GIGLIO.COM. Digital commerce leader, globally appreciated and already active with national and international luxury brands.
In the upcoming days, following the shareholders' meeting, I would like to publicly update everyone on every aspect concerning our partnership and the development project.
