Francesco Di Mariano underwent arthroscopic surgery (selective meniscectomy) today in Barcelona for an incomplete radial lesion of the anterior horn of the external meniscus of the right knee.
The surgery, perfectly successful, was performed by prof. Ramon Cugat, among other things Manchester City's orthopedic consultant, who since March has coordinated the conservative therapy performed by the footballer following a post-traumatic knee pain.
Also present in the operating room was the Rosanero health manager, Dr. Roberto Matracia.
Di Mariano will begin his physiotherapy course in the next few days.
