Palermo VS Como: Media accreditation to be applied for by 12 noon on Friday 2nd December

Palermo FC announces that, on the occasion of the Palermo VS Como match, scheduled for Thursday 8th December at 20.30, valid for the 16th match day of the Serie BKT 2022-2023 Championship, requests for press accreditation must be sent exclusively via email to the address press@palermofc.com no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 2nd December.

All accreditation requests must be drawn up on headed paper, signed by the responsible director and, by law, must be complete with:

- name, surname, date and place of birth;

- Press Board card number for journalists;

- ID number for technicians;

- 2022-2023 LNPB authorization number for photographers.

Each newspaper may only request 1 accreditation for a journalist already owning a Press Board Card.

Radio and television broadcasting companies in possession of the 2022-2023 LNPB authorization can only accredit journalists present in the list communicated to the Lega B Broadcast Office and present in the Lega B Portal. Access by the technicians of the same broadcasters is subject to the current AGCOM provisions: 1 journalist + 1 technician for radio and television broadcasters in possession of clearance to exercise the right to press; 1 journalist + 2 technicians or 2 journalists + 1 technician for broadcasters holding other types of rights.

IMPORTANT: broadcasters not present in the LNPB Portal by 12 noon on the day preceding the match cannot be accredited. This communication would be given via email in response to the accreditation request.

As provided by national regulations, the Company holds the right to select and consequently reject accreditation requests, even if received within the communicated deadline, if the number exceeds the available capacity of the Press Tribune and/or if the requests are not in possession of the necessary requisites (e.g. newspapers that do not include among the main topics continuously dealt with those related to football and, in particular, to Palermo FC or the opposing team). Requests received after the date and time indicated will be automatically rejected.

At the end of the selection operations for accreditation requests, only in the event of a rejected request, the Palermo FC Press Office would send an email communication within 48 hours prior the start of the match. The selection of requests from the Press accompanying the opposing team will be carried out in collaboration with the respective Club's Press Office.

The Press duly accredited to the match will be able to access the pre-filtering gates of the stadium through a list of names and, starting two hours before the start of the match, will be able to collect their press pass at the Press Entrance of the Covered Grandstand at the banquet manned by steward staff.

In compliance with LNP regulations, it is forbidden to shoot videos inside the stadium on the match day: only television broadcasters in possession of the 2022-2023 clearance for the exercise of the right to press or other types of rights will be authorised to shoot videos of the post-match interviews, while the online newspapers will only be able to share the contents published on the official channels of the Clubs via embed. The violation of these rules can be sanctioned with the suspension of press accreditation directly from Lega B.

In compliance with the federal protocols in force, until otherwise notified, the post-match interviews of Palermo FC will take place in the press room of the stadium (2nd floor of the South Tower), with the exception of the interviews with licensee broadcasters or holders of other types of rights with respect to the right to report that will be located in the Privileged Area and/or Mixed Zone (ground floor).

The post-match interviews of the visiting team will be carried out according to the procedures established by the respective Press Office.

After the match, the Press Stand will be available to the Press only up to three hours and from the start of the match.
