The pullman from Palermo was the subject of a vandalic attack this evening in Catanzaro, a few kilometers away from the hotel which is hosting the transferred group for tomorrow’s match against the Calabrese team.
While the bus was temporarily parked, with the team and staff inside, two strangers started hitting the windows and the side of the bus with helmets and sticks. The same people then followed and surpassed the bus by car, in order to wait for it and continue hitting it.
After the attack, one window was destroyed, and part of the side of the bus was damaged.
Apart from the commotion of the moment, no player or staff member was harmed. The authorities have already been contacted to follow the proper procedure.
