The University of Palermo and Palermo FC have signed an agreement for the creation of synergistic and transversal projects in the sporting, cultural, scientific and educational fields. An agreement that establishes the union of intent between the university and the club, already underway with the collaboration on the Master’s degree in sports management at the Barbera and with the discounted rates for students, teachers and university staff on season tickets and tickets to the stadium.
“With the signing of this agreement we seal a collaborative relationship between the University and the Team that represents our City – underlines the UniPa Rector, Massimo Midiri – This initiative has the objective, fully shared by the two entities, of promoting culture, in particular way towards the young generations, accompanying the healthy values of sport with those of education. All this is in line with the master’s project in ‘Sport Management’ which, after the notable success of last year, will soon open a new edition full of important innovations. The synergy between UniPa and Palermo FC is well represented by the commitment of the players in choosing to undertake a university course, which brings to our young people the important message to always focus on study and knowledge”.

Thanks to the document signed today, in particular, the University recognizes in Palermo the possibility for Rosanero employees and members to enroll in the study courses present in the university’s educational offer, and, furthermore, provides in the academic year 2023/2024 English language courses and other functional activities for the linguistic strengthening of the various players in the club.
Palermo undertakes to contribute to the promotion of the mission and brand of the University of Palermo with its members and through its channels, and to maintain the special 30% discount for the purchase of tickets in the steps and in the corners for all the protagonists of the university world, as well as other discounts for purchases in the official Palermo store and at the Palermo Museum.
Furthermore, Palermo will further open its doors to UniPA students for educational projects and dedicated visits to the stadium and facilities of the new Palermo CFA, the Rosanero sports center in Torretta. And in the same way, Palermo players and professionals will participate in the events of the University of Palermo, to share education, study and training projects.
