The new kit Kappa Kombat 2021-2022

Palermo has presented the new Kombat™ home and away kit at Palermo University’s Botanical Garden, for the 2021-2022 season, created in collaboration with the Palermitan agency Gomez & Mortisia, and the R&D Kappa center.

The first t-shirt is a stylish homage to the first rosanero uniform in the history of Palermo, which was perfectly bicolored, pink and black, as early as 1907. The t-shirt also evokes the club’s logo in which, for the first time, the current colors of Palermo are shown: a shield perfectly divided in half, pink and black. After many years of almost exclusive pink prevalence, Palermo’s t-shirt goes back to balancing the two colors in equal measure. Another sign of continuity is present in the third t-shirt from the 2021/2022 season which, in order to celebrate 120 years of its founding, was proposed in a unique white-blue bicolor. The graphic project of this bicolor rosanero t-shirt was among the elements fans could vote for in the open poll in 2019. In that case, with more than 12 thousand votes, the second most voted one was, in fact, the rosanero bicolor. The two halves of the t-shirt are separated by a subtle golden line. A detail which embellishes the combination of the main colors, and arises again in the details of the neck in an elegant way.

The second t-shirt has a historical reference as well: it takes up the “puchain” style of late 70’s Palermo. A style which, in those years, was also adopted by some of the best teams in Serie A. This choice marks the comeback of the color white as the main color for the second t-shirt of Palermo. A choice oriented to the vintage taste, a returning classic, immediately recognizable by most fans.
