Palermo Women Head Coach Emanuele Chiappara commented on the win against Academy Abatese on the Club’s official channels.
“The girls put in a great performance. We created plenty of opportunities and showed greater concentration than last week. It was a very difficult match – said the rosanero Head Coach – . The girls showed great character, confidence and determination. I expected this kind of performance because I had seen positive signs in recent matches. Today we managed to make our chances count and fought until the very end, despite a late push from our opponents. We stayed united and managed to secure a hugely important result, which gives us greater confidence in the progress we have made so far. I dedicate this victory to the girls, who always give everything, and on a personal note, my thoughts go to my wife, who is celebrating her birthday today”.
