A day to share perspectives on the development of the Health and Performance sector in football, in contact with coaches and professionals from the Palermo FC athletics department, who will give an in-depth account of the Club’s philosophy and working methods in order to foster new professional relationships: all this will be Who We Are, an event within the Health and Performance Academy hosted at the Palermo City Football Academy, aimed at companies, partners and consultants who offer services and support in the medical and physiotherapy fields, with a particular focus on the area of performance. The event will be held on Sunday 9 November 2025 at the rosanero sports centre in Torretta.
For the first time, Palermo staff will illustrate the working method that guides their daily activities, presenting the potential of the Torretta sports centre as a hub of innovation. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the facility’s spaces and take part in networking events designed to promote new connections and strengthen collaboration between sport and business.
Companies already well established in the world of sport and interested in this experience, with a view to possible future collaborations, can apply by filling in the online form.
PROGETTO GIOVANI – INNOVATION PERFORMANCE
The second part of the day will be dedicated to the Progetto Giovani – Innovation Performance, an initiative that combines learning, research and creativity, confirming the commitment to investing in the future and focusing on dialogue with the business world and the promotion of young talent.
The proposal aims to involve young graduates and researchers in Sports Science, Physiotherapy and related disciplines, offering them the opportunity to present a research project or practical application in the following areas:
- Advanced post-match recovery strategies, with innovative approaches to standard methodologies;
- New approaches to movement analysis, with a focus on video analysis, biomechanics and the development of dedicated laboratories.
The eight most interesting projects will be exhibited during a dedicated session at the event. This represents an important opportunity for young people to exchange ideas and a qualified showcase in which to present their ideas and work not only to Palermo staff, but also to the companies and professionals in attendance. It is a concrete opportunity to enhance their career path and open up new possibilities for growth and collaboration, in a high-level context and in close contact with the world of professional sport.
