Palermo FC announces that, on the occasion of the match Palermo FC vs Manchester City FC, valid for the Anglo-Palermitan Trophy and scheduled for Saturday 9th August 2025 at 9.00pm, Media accreditation requests must be submitted exclusively via email to [email protected], no later than 12.00pm on Thursday 31th July.
All accreditation requests must be submitted on official letterhead, signed by the editor-in-chief, and, in accordance with legal provisions, must include the following details:
-Full name, date and place of birth;
-Press card number issued by the Italian National Order of Journalists or an AIPS Card for foreign journalists;
-LNPA or LNPB (2024–2025 or 2025–2026) authorization number for photographers.
Each Media outlet may request accreditation for only one journalist holding a valid press card, with the exception of national and international newspapers (which may request accreditation for up to two journalists), and national, international broadcasters and rights holders.
Local radio and television stations holding LNPA or LNPB authorization (2024–2025 or 2025–2026) may only request accreditation for journalists whose names are included in the list previously submitted to the Broadcasting Office: in relation to scheduled post-match activities, radio and television technicians from local broadcasters who are not rights holders will not be accredited for the friendly match in question.
In accordance with national regulations, the Club reserves the right to review and reject any accreditation requests, even those received before the deadline, if the number of requests exceeds the Press Box capacity and/or the applications do not meet the required standards (e.g., outlets not regularly covering football, Palermo FC or the opposing team).
In the case of selection based on limited availability, priority will be given to Media outlets already accredited in the previous season. Requests received after the specified date and time will be automatically rejected.
Following the selection process (concluded on Thursday 31th July), only in the event of a rejected application, Palermo FC’s Press Office will notify the applicant by email within 48 hours of kick-off.
MEDIA PASS COLLECTION
Accredited Media Operators will be granted access through the stadium’s pre-filter checkpoints using the official list of names. From two hours before kick-off, they will be able to collect their press pass at the Media Entrance of the Covered Stand, at the dedicated desk managed by stewards.
MATCH DAY VIDEO RECORDINGS
In compliance with current regulations and licensed broadcasting rights, video recording inside the stadium on match day is strictly prohibited.
POST MATCH ACTIVITIES
There will be no post-match Media activity in the Press Conference Room: Media Operators may remain in the Main and Additional Press Boxes until three hours after kick-off.
National and international broadcasters and rights holders will conduct interviews in the Mixed Zone.
After the match, Palermo FC’s Press Office will provide accredited Media Operators with a Media Kit, containing match highlights, post-match video interviews, and a curated selection of photographs available for unrestricted use.
Any additional Media activities reserved for Media operators accredited for the match will be communicated closer to the match.
