Palermo Women Head Coach Emanuele Chiappara commented on the draw against Lecce Women on the Club’s official channels.
“The girls put in an excellent performance on a difficult pitch and in heavy rain. We played with confidence and dominated the first half from a technical point of view. After the break, more space opened up and we created goalscoring opportunities. Our opponents took advantage of a set-piece to equalise. We are disappointed because we could have managed our lead better, but I have no complaints about the girls, who showed great character against an experienced side”.
