The coach of Palermo Women, Rosalia Pipitone, spoke to the Club’s official media about the draw against Lecce Women.
“We deserved more today – began the rosanero coach – We lacked sharpness in front of goal, and that’s something we need to improve on. The match was played in very tight spaces and, from that point of view, I’m very pleased with the girls’ attitude as they fought for every ball. It’s a draw that feels like a missed opportunity, but we’ll take it home with the determination to finish our league campaign on a high note”.
In the post-match interview, rosanero player Sofia Viscuso spoke to LND: “I’m pleased with the team’s performance. We lacked lucidity in front of goal; in football, the team that scores wins, and we were just missing that goal to take home all three points. We’re aware we need to work on this aspect and we’re training hard to make the difference in the small details”.
