A special celebration in a special place, with a special guest. Palermo’s new “Zagara Kit”, whose design has yet to be unveiled, will pay tribute to the legendary Conca d’Oro—the plain surrounding Palermo whose sun-drenched countryside has been brightened for centuries by the splendour of Sicily’s citrus groves.

To celebrate this original source of inspiration, the Mercato Ortofrutticolo of Palermo will host the “Zagara Party” on Friday, 24 July, from 7:00 p.m. The special event, organised by Palermo FC and open to all supporters, will feature the official presentation of the new shirt.

The choice of venue is highly symbolic. Never before used for an event of this kind, the Mercato Ortofrutticolo was selected to showcase the agricultural and commercial culture that, over the centuries, has helped shape some of the most distinctive symbols of Palermo and Sicily around the world. The kit presentation will therefore provide an opportunity to take the shirt beyond football’s traditional settings and bring it directly into the heart of the city, to one of its most authentic locations—an expression of the bond between the Club and its community.

The evening will be made even more special by the appearance of Fabrizio Miccoli, a Club legend and former rosanero captain, who will once again meet Palermo supporters in a warm collective embrace. After comedian and passionate Palermo fan Lupetto welcomes guests from 7:00 p.m., the stage will belong to the unforgettable number 10, who will take part in a special talk hosted by journalist Sarah Castellana, a Sky presenter and host of the Torretta Cafè format. For this occasion, the interview set will move from the Palermo CFA to the foot of Monte Pellegrino, where Miccoli will look back on the most memorable moments of his career, surrounded by the aromas of fresh fruit from the stalls of the Mercato Ortofrutticolo.

The talk will be followed by live music and an irresistible performance by Kimolìa, the 11-piece street band that had the crowd at the Barbera singing and dancing before the Palermo–Cesena match on 18 April. The music will then continue with DJ Tropea, whose set will keep the party going until the end of the evening.

The surrounding area will be specially fitted out with Palermo street food and a bar corner serving citrus-infused craft beer and an exclusive “Zagara Cocktail”, created especially for the occasion by the bartenders of Sanlorenzo Mercato. Between a sandwich and a refreshing drink, guests will also be able to have fun and test their skills in a series of special challenges set up in the large forecourt of the Mercato Ortofrutticolo: exciting football accuracy and precision contests open to everyone, with plenty of merchandise up for grabs.

As capacity is limited, admission will require the purchase of an €8 ticket, including one drink, from the ticketing section of Palermo’s official website. Tickets will go on sale at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, 17 July. The first 100 supporters to purchase the Zagara shirt from Palermo’s physical store, located at the Renzo Barbera Stadium, from 20 July will enjoy the party as true VIP guests. Each of them will receive free priority admission for two people and will have the opportunity to meet Fabrizio Miccoli in a reserved area during the evening for an exclusive photo and autograph session featuring the new shirt.
