Following the success of the short Master’s degree in “Sports Management”, which has reached its fifth edition, Palermo FC presents the short courses “Club Manager” and “Match Analyst & Scouting”: two new courses aimed at preparing qualified professionals for the football industry, in collaboration with the University of Palermo.
The courses, structured to combine theoretical learning and practical application, offer the opportunity to learn directly from qualified professionals and operators and then to carry out formative activities in close contact with the professionals of the rosanero Club. From the study of real case studies to simulations with immediate implications on the field, participants will be able to apply the skills acquired through contact with the main operational areas of a professional football team.
Both courses consist of three weeks of intensive teaching, followed by a month of practical experience within Palermo FC. This is an exclusive opportunity to experience the reality of a Club from the inside and consolidate the knowledge acquired.
The Club Manager course prepares participants to take on the roles of team manager, club manager and referee officer. It includes in-depth analysis of FIGC and FIFA regulations, a focus on managing a football team’s locker room and particular attention to transversal skills such as leadership and problem solving.
The Match Analyst & Scouting course offers advanced tools for tactical analysis and football scouting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn methods for collecting and managing performance data, criteria for evaluating players, and techniques for writing professional reports, using cutting-edge software and technological tools.
These programmes represent not only an opportunity for professional growth for those who dream of a future in the world of football, but also confirmation of Palermo FC’s commitment to promoting young talent and contributing to the formation of new figures who will animate the football industry. This is a mission that the Club has been passionately pursuing for some time and which today is enriched with new concrete opportunities to build the future of sport together.
