Palermo is a partner of the 401st Festino di Santa Rosalia. To mark the celebrations, the Club is renewing its bond with the city by participating in the event with a highly symbolic gesture: the boys and girls of the rosanero Youth Sector will push the traditional “Carro della Santuzza” (Carriage of Saint Rosalia) wearing the new 2025/26 pink kit unveiled just a week ago, which has been customised for the occasion with the name and icon of the Patron Saint.
This tribute to the “Santuzza” is part of the celebrations marking the 125th anniversary of Palermo FC, a milestone that reflects a century-long history deeply intertwined with the life of the city. The special jersey will also feature the new anniversary logo created to commemorate this historic occasion, ahead of the official anniversary date on November 1st.
This is not the first time Palermo has paid tribute to Santuzza. Back in 2022, the Club unveiled its third kit designed by artist TvBoy, inspired by the iconography of Santa Rosalia, along with a commemorative mural by the same artist in the tunnel leading to the locker rooms at the Barbera stadium, which is still greeted by the players before every match.
With this new initiative, the Club renews its commitment to being a key player not only on the pitch, but also in the cultural and spiritual life of the city, conveying to young people the value of being an active part of their community.
