Palermo FC announces that, for the Palermo v Juve Stabia match, the opening fixture of the 2026-2027 Serie BKT season, scheduled to take place on Sunday 23 August 2026 at 9.00 pm at the Renzo Barbera Stadium, Media accreditation requests must be submitted exclusively via email to [email protected] no later than 12.00 pm on Tuesday 18 August.
Each media outlet may request a maximum of one accreditation for a journalist who is already in possession of a valid Press Association card.
All accreditation requests must be submitted on official letterhead, signed by the editor-in-chief and, in accordance with legal requirements, must include:
– full name, date and place of birth;
– Press Association membership number or AIPS Card number for journalists;
– ID document number for technical staff;
– 2026-2027 LNPB authorisation number for photographers.
TV AND RADIO BROADCASTERS
Radio and television broadcasters holding a valid 2026-2027 LNPB authorisation may request accreditation exclusively for journalists included in the list submitted to the Lega B Broadcasters Office and registered on the Lega B Portal.
Access for technical staff from the same broadcasters is subject to the applicable AGCOM regulations: 1 journalist + 1 technician for radio and television broadcasters authorised to exercise news reporting rights; 1 journalist + 2 technicians or 2 journalists + 1 technician for broadcasters holding other types of rights.
SELECTION CRITERIA
As provided for by national regulations, Palermo FC reserves the right to select and consequently reject accreditation requests, even if submitted within the stated deadline, should the number of applications exceed the capacity of the Press Box and/or should the requests fail to meet the necessary requirements (e.g. media outlets whose regular editorial coverage does not primarily include football-related topics and, in particular, Palermo FC or the opposing team). Should a selection be necessary due to limited capacity, priority will be given to Media representatives who were accredited during the previous season. Requests received after the specified date and time will be automatically rejected.
Once the accreditation selection process has been completed, only in the event of an unsuccessful application, the Palermo FC Press Office will send an email notification within 48 hours of kick-off. Accreditation requests from Media representatives covering the visiting team will be assessed in cooperation with the relevant Press Office.
MEDIA ACCREDITATION COLLECTION
Media representatives who have been duly accredited for the match will be able to access the stadium through the pre-filtering checkpoints, where their names will be included on the accreditation list. From two hours before kick-off, they will be able to collect their press pass at the Media Entrance of the Main Stand, from the dedicated desk staffed by stewards.
MEDIA PARKING
The designated parking area for accredited Media representatives is located in front of the Stadio delle Palme. In accordance with Public Security regulations, once the pre-filtering perimeter has been set up, access will be permitted via the accreditation list exclusively through the entrance on the Curva Nord side.
POST-MATCH ACTIVITIES
Post-match interviews will take place in the stadium Press Room (2nd floor, South Tower), with the exception of interviews conducted by licensed broadcasters or broadcasters holding rights other than news reporting rights, which will take place in the Privileged Area and/or Mixed Zone (ground floor). The Press Box will remain available to Media representatives for up to three hours after kick-off.
