Palermo Women Head Coach Emanuele Chiappara commented on the defeat against S. Antonio Abate on the Club’s official channels.
“We put in a good performance in terms of our overall play and attacking approach, despite a hesitant start in which we conceded a goal following a long ball from our opponents. The team responded – said the rosanero Head Coach – creating numerous chances and doing everything possible to find the back of the net, but we were unable to convert our opportunities. We are disappointed with the result, especially given our performance, but credit must go to our opponents, who showed great determination. We need to improve in the final third, where technical execution often makes the difference. As a coach, I see the team’s ability to play good football and create chances as a positive sign. We must continue working in this direction and aim to be more clinical in front of goal”.
