Away defeat for Palermo’s Primavera side.
The team led by Cristiano Del Grosso lost 3-1 to Avellino in the 29th round of the Primavera 2 Championship.
The match came to life in the 25th minute, when Balaguss saved a penalty from Spadoni to keep the score level. Palermo took the lead in the 38th minute with a penalty converted by Ribaudo. In the second half, Avellino turned the game on its head: in the 48th minute, Donofrio equalised from the penalty spot; in the 63rd minute, Amiranda completed the comeback with a precise shot from the centre of the box; and in the 67th minute, Spadoni scored the third goal to seal the victory.
