A comeback victory for Palermo Primavera.
Cristiano Del Grosso’s side claimed a 4-2 win over Cosenza in the match valid for the 17th round of the Primavera 2 Championship.
The match was opened after just four minutes by Barbagallo, who gave Cosenza the lead, but Palermo’s response was immediate: in the 8th minute Anghileri equalised with a header from a corner kick. Around the half-hour mark, the hosts took the lead as Randazzo converted from the penalty spot. In the second half Palermo stepped up the pace: in the 64th minute Avena made it 2-2 with a header from a corner taken by Brutto, before the decisive push in the final stages. In the 88th minute Anghileri struck again to complete the comeback, and deep into stoppage time Grippa sealed the win, setting the final score at 4-2.
