Home victory for Palermo’s Primavera side.
The team led by Cristiano Del Grosso beat Crotone 7–1 in the 27th round of the Primavera 2 Championship.
The match began well for the rosanero, who took the lead in the 5th minute through Avena and doubled their advantage as early as the 15th minute with a goal from Anghileri. Palermo continued to press and made it three in the 20th minute through Bertolino, before Pierangeli pulled one back for Crotone in the 22nd minute. In the second half, Del Grosso’s side ran riot: in the 46th minute, Bertolino scored again, followed two minutes later by Anghileri and in the 50th minute by Avena. Bertolino sealed the victory in the 72nd minute, completing his hat-trick and setting the final score at 7-1.
