PUMA and Palermo FC, in celebration of the Club’s 125th anniversary, present the new Away kit for the 2025–26 season, which will be worn by all the rosanero teams: an elegant and distinctive tribute to the Club’s British roots, with a design that evokes the style of the historic early 20th-century jerseys.
A true tribute to the heritage of Palermo FC, with an unmistakably vintage feel, celebrating the cosmopolitan spirit and cultural boldness that have always characterised the Sicilian capital. The dominant colourway of the new Away kit is Deep Navy, a shade widely used in the “royal” uniforms of English teams in the early decades of the last century, embellished with details such as the refined polo collar and double stitching in Team Light Pink for a timeless effect.
A distinctive feature is the return in style of the historic futurist logo of the Club, which appears for the first time on the match jersey. It is the famous diamond shape with an old-style football in the centre, designed in 1929 by the painter Pippo Rizzo, an exponent of Sicilian Futurism and a native of Corleone. At the time, it was a symbol of modernity and avant-garde adopted by Palermo as an alternative to traditional heraldic coats of arms, which were considered too conventional at the time.
When it was first designed in the 1930s, logos were not yet used on match jerseys. Today, PUMA and the Club are writing a new page in history, bringing back an emblem that has left a deep mark on Palermo’s visual memory. Traces of this crest are still preserved today in the Palermo Museum, among documents, membership cards and vintage posters.
The new away kit thus embodies the link between history and innovation, tradition and pioneering spirit. A true manifesto of identity, ready to dress the Rosanero during a special season that celebrates 125 years of pride, culture and belonging.
Palermo FC’s new Away jersey features a regular fit and combines 100% recycled polyester fabrics with PUMA’s advanced dryCELL thermoregulation technology—a moisture management system that ensures optimal body temperature. Ideal for both match days and everyday wear, the jersey is made with PUMA’s innovative RE\:FIBRE recycling technology and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste.
