PUMA and Palermo FC have unveiled the new Zagara Kit for the 2026/27 football season: an original tribute to the colours, scents and flavours of Sicily’s natural landscape and, in particular, to the citrus fruits that have brightened the Palermo countryside for centuries, earning it a place in the collective imagination as the “Conca d’Oro“.
Under the campaign line “Sicilia, in tutti i sensi“, the new kit celebrates the deep connection between the Club and its homeland, continuing an identity-driven journey that, in recent seasons, has explored local iconography—from Mediterranean influences to the Gulf of Mondello. The Zagara Kit represents a new chapter in this story, aimed both at rosanero supporters and an international audience, reaffirming football’s role as a vehicle for promoting culture and identity.
Rooted in Palermo’s identity yet interpreted through a contemporary aesthetic, the kit is brought to life within a painterly visual world that highlights the artistic nature of its design. The setting is among the olive trees and aromatic plants of the CFA, Palermo’s training centre in Torretta. This visual language brings tradition and modernity together, transforming the shirt into an expression of the island’s cultural richness.
Zagara—the blossom of citrus trees and a symbol of Sicily—provides the central theme of the creative narrative. Its fragrance, colours and symbolic significance evoke a heritage shaped by landscapes, memories, traditions and a shared identity. Through this kit, PUMA and Palermo FC celebrate a land to be experienced through its sights, scents, colours and emotions, strengthening the sense of belonging that connects the Club with its community.
The Zagara Kit’s colour palette captures the colours and atmosphere of Sicily in an original pattern. Canvas recalls the brightness of the island’s stone and architecture, while Almost Apricot, Fresh Yellow and Orange Peach evoke the delicate shades of citrus blossom and flowering groves—symbols of a land rich in fragrance and tradition. Completing the design, Dark Olive draws inspiration from olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation, further reinforcing the kit’s connection to the Sicilian landscape. A crew neck with refined detailing, contrast piping and the Palermo wordmark on the back of the neck complete the shirt.
The new regular-fit shirt combines fabrics made from 100% recycled polyester with PUMA’s advanced dryCELL thermoregulation technology, a moisture-management system designed to help keep the body dry and comfortable. Ideal both for matchday and everyday wear, the shirt is manufactured using the innovative RE:FIBRE technology and contains at least 95% recycled textile waste. The values that define the Club are reflected not only in the shirt’s design, but also in the way it is produced.
The new Palermo FC Zagara Kit is available from today at the Club’s official stores and selected retailers.
