You are the story. And no one should feel left out. Throughout 126 years of Rosanero history, generations of supporters have witnessed triumphs and setbacks, victories and defeats, living through different eras with the same colours proudly worn on their chests. The beauty of having been there, the privilege of preserving memories and details that others may have missed, and being able to say today, with a touch of pride: “I was there.”
There are eyes that have witnessed much of Palermo’s history. Eyes that have seen football, the city and the way people experience their passion for these colours change over time. A passion that can last an entire lifetime, inevitably becoming intertwined with everyday life.

Listening to their stories is enough to find yourself suddenly transported to another era. Memories of the Renzo Barbera Stadium, once known as the Littorio, anecdotes from Raimondo Lanza di Trabia’s presidency, Vernazza’s goals and the 2011 Coppa Italia final against Inter at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome. Fragments of history that resurface with an astonishing wealth of detail, preserved in the memories of those who experienced them first-hand. And then there are the first matches, the beginnings of a love destined to last a lifetime, and the memories passed down from one generation to the next. There is something that no archive, however valuable, can ever fully capture: the emotions of those who were there. The memory of a single moment, the ability to recall an episode decades later as though it had happened yesterday.
Palermo therefore decided to pay tribute to these very people: the Club’s ten oldest female and ten oldest male season ticket holders. Twenty guardians of Rosanero memories, invited to the Renzo Barbera Stadium for a special birthday celebration. People who, despite never having met before, discovered that they had been part of the same story for decades, each experiencing it through their own eyes.

The most emotional gift was yet to come. On the occasion of Palermo-Vicenza, these twenty supporters saw a dream come true as they accompanied the players of both teams onto the pitch. For those who had spent a lifetime following Palermo from the stands, stepping onto the pitch at the Barbera meant experiencing that same emotion from an entirely different perspective.
These are images destined to remain in the Club’s memory, just like the anecdotes and stories shared with us by these extraordinary witnesses to history. Palermo’s story belongs not only to those who have written it on the pitch, but also to those who have lived it from the stands. To those who were there yesterday, those who are here today and those who will be here tomorrow.
